A Record Breaking Year
The 2020-2021 fiscal year was a year unlike any in MANNA’s history.
Throughout the past year, MANNA distributed a record 25.5 million pounds of food throughout WNC. That’s 21 million meals – 58,300 meals per day! Because we remain dedicated to providing healthy, balanced plates of food, we are pleased to share that 67% of the food we distributed were healthy staples.
None of this would have been possible, however, without the support of the over 2,400 volunteers that dedicated over 54,000 hours at MANNA.
These numbers are a testament to the fact that even in a pandemic, our community comes together to make sure there is food on neighbor’s plates. Thank you to all of the hands that came together to help make the 2020-2021 fiscal year such an impactful year for families throughout WNC.
